There is life without Sparklebox!

For those of you, who like me, have decided to stop using Sparklebox, I thought I would post some alternative sites  for making signs for your classroom.

I have all the signs from: printed in colour and laminated around the school and class. also has some great signs you can even use with upper primary. It is also a great website for other materials.

Don’t forget Jan Brett’s site: – you can write what you want the sign to say.

For flashcards, I would suggest using They are funnier than the Sparklebox ones anyway! For pre-school children, check out Jan Brett (above). Also check: for alphabet flashcards. – a website Patti has forwarded in her comment

Here are some alternative websites with free materials which were posted on TES by teachers commenting on Sparklebox. – Bev Evan’s wonderful website.  There are classroom signs, flashcards, classroom basics, etc. for free and then there are some other very reasonably priced materials.   Some lovely free materials and other things you can purchase – once you have registered on this website, you can download things for free
