Back to school everyone!

 

A colleague of mine says there are two good reasons for going into teaching –

JULY AND AUGUST!

Joking apart, sometimes such a long school holiday can make the return to work more difficult than you’d expect after such a long rest. 

My favourite activities for the start of school:

With preschoolers, I take their photos and get them to draw around their hands and decorate these.  This is an activity I go back to at the end of the school year, when we do exactly the same activity and look at how much they’ve grown and changed.
